you are waiting on an answer to a question at work and your boss tells you to call and follow up
and you agree with him but then don’t actually call because
that would involve a telephone
so you just keep emailing the person
over and over and over and over again and
when your boss questions you about it you say
it’s because you feel it’s important to have a paper trail
and you even convince yourself of that
